I have uploaded pictures they aren't very good but you can see the darker spots appearing - they look like dark freckles they are not raised.
The red spots are more random and my little boy says they itch although he isn't itching constantly.
They are mainly on the cheek and jaw area and he doesn't have any elsewhere. But earlier in the year he had a very bad fungicidal infection in his toes and had antibiotics to clear it up.

I will suggest that you monitor only and expect spontaneous resolution of these symptoms. There is no need to take any special treatment options except something else comes up. These spots should normally regress and disappear within 7-10days.
