Brief Answer:
Pain seems to be not related to vaccine shot...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I read your message carefully and understood your problem.

Injection site reactions are quite common in administering vaccines. Pain, soreness, swelling and redness may develop after the vaccine injection.

This is considered normal and it goes away within 2 days after the injection. The second shot causes a stronger immune response as the body already knows the virus and is more prepared to fight it.

This is why the hepatitis B vaccine or Recombivax is separated in three shots. The goal is to strength the immune system step by step against hepatitis B.

As the pain is more potent today and aching from your shoulder down to the hand, and nothing abnormal you notice on the injection site, then, this is related to other causes like arthritis of the shoulder joints. Take over the counter painkillers. Apply warm clothing on the shoulder joint. If the pain won't subside or become stronger, should consult with your physician as X-ray of the joint or vertebral spine is necessary to evaluate the changes there.

Hope this is helpful.
