Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

I am sorry that you're having difficulty with sore throat. I would recommend that you try ibuprofen 400 to 600 mg every eight hours to help alleviate some of the information that can contribute to your symptoms. Also you can purchase over-the-counter throat spray at your local pharmacy. Brand names include Chloraseptic among others.

Another thing you can try is gargling with warm salt water. Remember not to swallow the water. This can sometimes bringrelatively quick relief to your symptoms.

If your symptoms do not improve within 24 to 48 hours you might want to schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor.

Thanks again for sending your question. Have a great day.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
