Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Your sister has got Tonsillo-Pharyngitis with Periodontal Infection and gum disease.

She needs aggressive treatment with antibiotics. I would prefer to recommend for her a broad spectrum to cover gum disease as well as other infections of throat. Give her Tablet Augmentin 1gram twice daily for 7 days. Plus tablet Ibuprofen 800mg twice daily for fever pain and inflammation. Tablet Fexofenadine 120mg every nightly ( it is an antiallergic)

More importantly, give her plenty of fruit juices freshly made at home. She should keep a balanced healthy diet starting from soft to normal diet. Proper rest is key to early recovery.

Gargle three times with mouthwash whichever suits your sister, like pyodine or clinica. Gently brush the teeth twice daily. Say her to consult her dentist too for periodontal disease. It is usually due to lack of deep cleaning of teeth leading to jaw bone decay and infections. When has she been with her dentist last time??

If her disease aggravates ( which will not happen I think) take her to Ottorhinolaryngologist for urgent care.

Hope I answered your concerns. If you have further questions, feel free to contact me anytime. If satisfied, please give a five Star rating and don't forget to Close the discussion.

Have a wonderful time ahead.
