Question: I was opening my dryer and the door hit my knee. Could that injure your knee? I can walk and there is no swelling. How heavy does something have to be to hurt your knee?

Brief Answer:
Bone injury is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

If you are able to bear the weight on your limb without much pain then a bone injury is unlikely. Most of the times it is a soft tissue injury but it takes at least 3-4 days for the pain to subside.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Take care
