Suggest Treatment For Slight Pain On The Ribs

default
Posted on Tue, 7 Apr 2015
Question: Hello I have been feeling a slight pain on and off on the right side just under my right ribs but towards the center of the abdomen, it doesn't feel like it's in the stomach. it is like a focused pain on one spot. Sometimes lately the pain goes lower more towards the right to the side of my abdomen and sometimes it feels like needles very suddenly. I have already seen my Dr and he ordered an ultrasound. They looked at my liver, gallbladder, pancreas and appendix and said everything looked perfect. I did a FLP Blood work and it came out perfect. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done a year ago and they found nothing of concern. I had a CT Scan almost a year ago because I had some stomach cramps and Colitis symptoms and they wanted to rule out more things but it came out good. They found a tiny kidney stone though and just told me to drink water.
They don't want to do another CT Scan because I did one not so long ago.
I have been searching the internet for answers and so far no luck....

Brief Answer:
Need further information

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Before running into final conclusions, I need to know about your bowel movements. Have you noticed any changes recently? What about burning or pain sensation while passing urine?

From what you are describing so far, your symptoms are due to tiny stone passing through your urinary tract and causing painful laceration.

Looking forward to have the requested information in for a more specific advice.

Hi! No bowel movement difference and no burning in urination . Other things I didn't mention is that From a year ago up to now I get acid reflux but with no burning sensation in esophagus. I just feel the food coming up qnd then eventually down. No nausea no fever nothing like that. And the pain in that spot is no burning sensation just sometimes pinching and sometimes like there is a bowel movement but Cannot be because intestine /colon is a little lower ... I lt is very strange and i cannot put my finger on it.

Brief Answer:
Hyperacidity causing your GI problems...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for providing the requested information.
Based on the additional signs you are describing, it seems that all your GI problems are due to hyperacidity (dyspepsia).

Once you get it treated, the other symptoms will be subsided too.

All the best!
