Brief Answer:
Skin inflammation with infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/26 - skin tags from hemorrhoids that develop after childbirth - concerned about the purple around anus as depicted in the picture you have provided.
Please give some additional information for me to assist you the best:
- Since when have you noticed this?
- Any symptoms that you have like pain, itching or so?
- Any problems with stool or urine?
- Any other information that you would like to share.

As per the picture your have provided, there is purple color and the skin is elevated and looks as if the hair follicles are also inflamed. This can be a dermatitis with mild infection.
The distribution of the lesion is bilaterally equal, to say butterfly shaped indicating contact dermatitis.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Stop using anything like soaps that can cause more irritation.
- You may please use plain water to keep the area clean and keep it dry.
- You may please apply liquid povidone Iodine to be applied locally to keep the area sterile.
- Oral antibiotics may be needed as there is evidence on infection and inflammation.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
