Brief Answer:
Talk to you doctor. You may need the drugs changed!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed your symptoms fully. These are side effects of effexor. If you just started this drug, report back to your doctor so that he may consider getting you on a new medication. There are other medications that can be used as well instead of effexor. Call your doctor up on this. As for the duration, this is difficult and cannot be speculated. However, a discontinuation would eventually lead to a reduction in the intensity of symptoms.

I wish you well. Let me know if there is something more you want us to talk about.
