Brief Answer:
Require to be re examined by your doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
If you have developed swelling around the eyes which is severe enough to shut your eyes following a sinus infection, it is possible that the infection is spreading. This area is called the ' dangerous area' of the face as there is a risk of the infection spreading inside into the brain.
You should see you doctor again without delay and have yourself re-examined and investigated. You would probably require more powerful antibiotics.
Take Care.

Brief Answer:
You are welcome.

Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the delay in replying due to the time zone difference.
If Kaiser is a doctor and gave you the advice after he examined you, it may not be a severe infection.
I hope it is under control and you are better . If not you should go to the ER. If the infection gets to the veins inside the head, it is dangerous and requires very strong antibiotics and admission to hospital.
The wise saying ' Prevention is better than cure ' is very true in such cases.
Wish you a quick recovery.
