Question: I am having concern of anxiety or heart attack
I have chest pains thru put my chest. I get dizzy at times. This occurred back in August as well. After a few weeks of it I went to the er. They performed an ekg. They stated it did not appear to be my heart. Stated I showed no damage or any signs to my heart. However Heart problems run in my family alot, on both sides of my family . The ER stated it could possibly be anxiety attacks. I never have experienced anxiety attacks. I do not have much stress in my life. I left after the er released me. Since that ER visit I have the same frequent issues. It may last a few hours but then go away. However, I woke up at 6am this morning and have been having the issues all day, issues being random chest pain/pressure, dizzy/lightheaded feeling, a little bit of shortness of breath. These are the same symptoms i was having back in August when i went to the ER. They stated no signs of a heart attack after doing EKG and blood test. I am Trying to determine if it's just a case of anxiety or further heart issue that I need to go to the ER. I recently just changed jobs and my insurance has not started, so if it is not a heart attack then I want to avoid going to ER. I am 33 years old. 6 ft, 250. I do not smoke but I drink about twice a week, only on weekends. I do not take medication. However I did take A spring 81 today

Brief Answer:
Don't worry, it is not a heart issue

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

If symptoms are similar with those you went to ER, then there is nothing to be concerned, it is not a heart issue, and there is no need to go to ER.
The only advice I would give you to check if you have spine problems when you have insurance. Sometimes spine problems can cause similar symptoms in young patients, and it can be treated with special exercises.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
