Brief Answer:
Infection of cornea needs to be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

The symptoms you have mentioned in the history in the form of red eye with pain on exposure to sun light are not seen in pink eye. Pink eye is infection of the eye called as conjunctivitis.
These symptoms are seen in infection or inflammation of the cornea or other internal structures.
Hence this condition require examination by your eye doctor to look for serious eye infections involving the cornea or other internal structures.

Hence I advice you to go for eye examination with your eye doctor for further advice depending on the condition.
