Question: I have a 'toothache'-like pain focused in the chin of my right leg. It still hurts and woke me up this morning about an hour and half ago. I have had this off an on over the last couple weeks, but pain never this bad and has never lasted this long. Any ideas what is going on?

Brief Answer:
Probably a pinched nerve.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

From description, it is more likely a pinched nerve that is causing your concerns.

The nerve may be damaged anywhere from the exit in the spinal cord, during its pathway at narrow places.

Neuroma (a benign tumor of the nerve sheath) also in rare cases may cause similar symptoms.

It is necessary to get evaluated by your primary care Doctor first, in order to understand better your condition.

Nerve conduction study and EMG may be also necessary to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
