Suggest Treatment For Severe Throat Pain In A Child
Question: I have a 6 yr old son...he says his XXXXXXX apple hurts. He doesnt have any other symptoms. Just soreness at touch.

no fever, nobody has the same problem in the family . no sore throat, no cough. tonsils look ok not red or enlarged..it has a small red spot (picture) . he says it only hurts to touch it.

Hi....I have just seen the photograph. This looks like a local infection or inflammation.
As of now give him oral Ibuprofen at 10mg/kg/dose every 8th hourly.
It should get better.
If persisting or worsening in 24 hours, Kindly consult your Pediatrician.
