Question: I am going thru a rough time now and under a lot of stress. My mother, who I co own a house with was dx with non small lung cancer in 0ct. 2013. she is currently on treatment and per dr this is under control but at the end of Feb 2017 she was dx with a brain tumor that was removed but my family has blamed me and been not reeally truly supportive only when it is convenient for there life. My mother and me live from paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. My family tells me not worry about the money but because leave from work and I had to take time off. My pay is short. i have to worry about bills. I am anemic and have been bleeding on my menstrual cycle for about 2 weeks. I had a iron fusion but for the last two days I have been bleeding very heavy and with blood clots. Can this is be caused by the stress or can this is be the start of menopause and is this is dangerous for my anemic.

Brief Answer:
You must consult gynecologist for examination.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

Are your periods regular? This type of heavy bleeding at this age is not considered normal. There are several reasons for such bleeding like

1. Fibroid uterus
2. Adenomyosis
3. Endometrial polyp
4. Endometrial hyperplasia

A very slim possibility that this heavy bleeding is due to stress.
I suggest that you consult gynecologist for internal examination, office endometrial biopsy and ultrasound. This will help us find out the reason for bleeding so that appropriate treatment can be given.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
