Question: Hi, I fell a few hours ago and hit my wrist. Everything was okay, I had no pain, I had dinner. All of a sudden my wrist hurt a lot. Especially when I move it. What could it be? Please advise. Thank-you!

Brief Answer:
Can be fracture or lgament tear.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Extreme pain on moving the wrist can be due to a bone injury or a ligament tear. Soft tissue injuries are usually not extremely painful. if it is associated with swelling also then fracture is more likely. Avoid all painful activities and attend an ER for X-ray.
I hope this answers your query.
