Hello,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.

As per the history given by you the pain seems to be gastric in origin as cardiac pain never radiates below belly button.
However before making any further comments i would like to know whether you have any history of constipation or loose stools?
Do you have acid peptic problem or bloating or belching?
Do tou smoke or drink?
How are your bowel habits?

Please answer asap.
waiting.

Yes to constipation and sometimes loose stools. Take Prilosec daily. Have been belching at times but not continuous. Do not smoke, but have been drinking more than normal. ( self medicating ). Have been waking up middle of the night feeling like I have to go. Usually sit there for 15 20 minutes at times before I manage to go.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Most likely you are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome and constipation is the cause of pain in abdomen. I would suggest you to use a laxative like Lactulose 10ml once daily at bed time for constipation.
Due to constipation the food remains undigested inside intestines for a long time leading to its incomplete fermentation causing excessive gas production.
So once constipation is relieved things will settle down on their own.
Along with laxative take metamucil once daily at bed time. Its a husk with mild laxative properties. It softens the stools and make bowel passage smooth.
A probiotic should also be taken regularly.Probiotics are rich in good bacteria and improves overall digestion.

Take lots of youghurt and fibres in your diet.
Eat simple and easily digestible food.

In case nit relieved in a week go for ultrasound abdomen to rule out the cause of constipation.

Regards.
