Question: My wife appears to have the flu, she has severe pain in her legs from the knees down to ankles, have taken Tylenol and Advil but it doesn't seem to help

Bone pain and joint pain can happen along with flu. This is usually temporary and subsides with rest mild pain killers and hot compress. You can increase The frequency of Advil to every 6 hours and see if it helps.
