Now after delivery I am taking insugen 30/70 injection daily 2times. My pediatrician asked me to stop giving breast milk as my baby has secondary lactose intolerance. I am getting severe leg pains and when I sit for sometime and try to walk .I am not able to walk properly as I am getting severe leg pains. Feeling very stressed and depressed about all the things. Can you suggest me what is happening in my body and how to be active all the time. Can you give me any good diabetic diet chart.

Since long you have diabetes?
Any other medicines you are taking other than insugen?
Is the leg pain associated with swelling or tenderness?

I would advise you to follow these guidelines
1. You should take low calorie diet,
2. You can take sprouts, oats or whole XXXXXXX diet in breakfast, steamed or boiled vegetables with bread or chapatti in lunch and dinner
3. You can take whole grain bread or toast with tea as a snacks in between meals
4. Keep a strict check on your blood sugar
5. Exercise regularly as much you can comfortably do
6. You should also practice yoga and meditation under guidance of an expert to fight against stress and depression.

Brief Answer:
lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hello
welcome again and thanks for the reply.
In my opinion you should exercise regularly and try to reduce some weight with dietary restriction and regular physical exercise
You should take multivitamin especially vitamin B 12 and calcium supplements for a week to 10 days.

You can ask your doctor to switch over again to a oral anti diabetic drug in place of insugen after checking blood sugar fasting and post prandial.

Hope this helps you
Best wishes
