Question: I'm experiencing severe hair loss. Have been taking synthroid for 30 yrs and don't feel it's the cause.
However, I've been on amlodipine and ranitidine for the past month and was wondering if either of these drugs could be causing the problem.

Amlodipine and ranitidine don't cause hair loss, take hair supplements

Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints and amlodipine and ranitidine donot cause hair loss.
I would recommend you to take hair supplements containing biotin for 3-4 months.
