Question: I have had a sour tongue feeling, it feels kind of like a burning sensation at times, it gets worse through out the day. Does not hurt taste intact. What could it be? It happened last october then stopped, then continued again this past month. A had a few bumps on it a week ago but they seem to have gone away. When i eat some foods it burns.
Presently i am going through major depression but my depression has been for past 4 mos. What could this be? Could it be neuro or gastric problems? Could it be hormones? Worried

I am not on any meds. Could this sour taste be caused by a brain tumor?

Brief Answer:
Get examined by a physician

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You can take vitamin supplements.
Very unlikely to be due to tumor without any headache, vomiting, visual loss, seizures or smell abnormalities.
Get examined by a physician too.
Wishing you good health and early recovery.
