Brief Answer:
it is psychotic problem, need more evalaution

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us.

From your history it does not look like depression.

Symptoms 'trying to harm her with black magic hears sounds speaking to her always tries to remember past things she also laughs without any reason, someone is making her do this ' are psychotic features in psychiatry terminology. These are suggestive of some psychotic disorder possibly schizophrenia. But to diagnose this symptoms should be present almost daily with some disturbance in social or occupational life.

However you mentioned that these symptoms come only sometime otherwise she is ok. This requires evaluation.

For diagnosis detail history and mental status examination are required to be done by a psychiatrist.

Let me know some more information.

- What is duration of married life?

- Since when are you observing these symptoms?

- Apart from you anyone else has noticed this?

- What is her education? Is she house wife or working woman?

- Due to these any disturbance in her life or your marital life?

I will be happy to help further.

Regards,

Dr. Chintan Solanki

Brief Answer:
this might be onset of psychotic disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for answers.

It is good that you have noticed symptom early and sought help.

These are likely beginning symptoms of some psychotic disorder. Physical factors to be ruled out after history and examination. Any specific stress also should be ruled out.

The best thing you can do is take her to psychiatrist as soon as possible. She likely needs anti psychotic medicines. Earlier the treatment starts better the results.

Take care. Feel free to discuss further.
