Question: Doctor I had a bad cough and cold and took allopathic meds for the past 5 days since it was awful. But I believe more in homeopathy and took homeo meds also on those days, sometimes along with it. Are these not meant to be taken together?
The allopathy is over now.Just taking homeopathy .Please advise.Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Homoeopathy medicine required

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

I appreciate your interest in homoeopathy.
Medicine are safe to use and has no side effect.

I am suggesting some homoeopathic medicine and you may start as prescribed.

You may start with XXXXXXX bichrome 30 6 pills twice in day
Allium cepa 30 6 pills twice in day
Dulcamara 30 6 pills twice in day

You may take homoeopathy medicine along with allopathic medicine but their should be some reasonable time gap in between.

Hope this is clear to you

Thanks doctor.
I did not have a gap between them but will do so in the future.
I read that homeopathy can be taken with allopathy if ill , just wanted to clarify.
Also,I am on birth control pills and I want to return to homeopathy now. I am sure homeopathy does not affect the effectiveness of the birth control pills right? Please clarify.

Thanks for clarifying doctor.Yes, I do plan to follow up. I have always favoured homeopathy more and wanted to not take any allopathy unless I have a serious fever with cold for several days, etc. In these cases, if I am prescribed some allopathy too, along with the homeopathy that my doctor will prescribe, what is the required interval between the two medicines/tablets? Is around 30 minutes okay? Thanks for your helpful answers. This is my last follow up question.

Hello
There should be atleast 20 to 30 minute time gap between two medicine.

This will allow the medicine to absorb properly.
