Brief Answer:
Repeat enema and take the medications and fiber supplement

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.

If you have constipation there are some things that can help:

1. Enema- they are not recommended to be used frequently but when you have not been able to have a bowel movement in 5-6 days and in that case after the enema you will need other treatment to keep stools soft and ease bowel movement. Enemas also need to be applied with bottom higher and stay in that position for 5 minutes after administration to allow it to spread in the bowel. It is better applied if another person applies it to you, it is hard to apply it effectively on yourself.

2. Psyllium fiber 1-2 doses a day regularly. this helps the stool be softer and easier to pass.

3. Lactulose syrup, 1-2 tablespoon a day

4. Take fiber with diet, which mease salads, fruit and vegetable, drink plenty, be active.

5. Do not take Senna and Bisacodyl as they cause dependence of bowel to medication and need to use them regularly then and still higher doses required with time.

To finish: ask someone else to do the enema to you (medical or para-medical personnel) and than start oral lactulose syrup 1-2 tablespoon a day and extra fiber in diet (psyllium). Have healthy food with fruit, vegetables and avoid junk food.

I hope this is helpful and answers to your question.

Kind regards
