Brief Answer:
Ayurveda Management & Approach

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and after reviewing your case history and answers given by other fellow Physicians I'm of the following opinion:

1. As the opinion of Cardiologist and Gastroenterologist is Good thus probably it could be related with GAD [generalised Anxiety Disorder] unless proved otherwise

2. As the problem is for last few years did you or your family members noticed any of the following symptoms:depressed or irritable mood, disorganized sleeping or concentration, change in eating habits, mood swings, withdrawal from social activities, feeling of low esteem and ideas of suicide??

3. Are these problems due to some physical or mental cause or any traumatic event interfering with your work and/or social/family life]?

4. Any excess use of stimulants like caffeine and sugar [major diet source of causing anxiety and thereby causing panic attacks]

5. Is anxiety features related with health anxiety or health issues?

6. Have you undergone any cognitive/behavioral strategies for the same? [any opinion of Psychologist]

7. Do revert back with your clarifications for treatment and management aspect, till then Dietary Regime and Lifestyle Management can be incorporated in your daily schedule:

i. If every examination/and investigation comes to be normal then one can classify your problem under GAD and the clinical approach will be from my side will be according to “manovaha srotas vyadhi”, as such;

. AVOID: alcohol, pepper, garam masala, mustard oil, pickles, rye, spicy food, anger, grief, fear, late night waking, garlic, ginger, onion

. TAKE: mint, coriander, tomato, and cumin, plenty of water, vitamins and mineral supplements, apple, banana, grapes, dates

. Lemon juice mixed with sugar in a glass of water helps release stress removing hormones from the body and bring mind at peace/rest, OR one can eat 2 spoons coriander [Dhaniya] seeds with 2 spoons of sugar candy [mishri]

. Apple, almond, banana, broccoli, cantaloupe, melon, carrot, cashew nut, corn, cauliflower, grapes, guava, lemon, XXXXXXX orange, pineapple, soybean, spinach have anti oxidant and detoxifying properties so take them in plenty.

. Stretching Yoga poses [Dhanurasana, Matsyasana, Janu Shirsasana, Paschimottanasana, Hastapadasana], hot shower and massage are simple techniques to overcome muscle tension from anxiety.

PS. discomfort during travelling is due to Acidity or flatulence or else?

Brief Answer:
Ayurveda and natural Methods

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. As there is family history of the same thus you should consult with your health care professional for CBT [cognitive behavioral therapy] to identify and counteract negative thoughts.

2. As the attacks are sudden/random i.e. repeatable which means you feel endangered and unable to escape which means there is ‘fear of fear’ i.e. vicious anxiety- panic attack- anxiety cycle

PS. practice relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, pranayam which will strengthen the relaxation response of body as opposite to stress response during panic attacks and don’t try to run away from the situation which will reinforce the perception that your panic attacks are unbearable [remember they are uncomfortable but not life threatening], allow the symptoms to pass and you will gain ability to cope with them

3. Prescription drugs and procedures available for your problems are: stressan, jatamansi, bramhi, kevada, vacha, tagar, amla, manasmitra vatkam, XXXXXXX vati, mann XXXXXXX vati , sarasvatarishta, Natner, nasya karma thus you may consult for the same or do let me know so that I can courier you effective and result oriented prescription with dosage [success rate is encouraging]

4. Symptoms starting just before travel could be related with motion/travel/ gastrointestinal symptoms thus it should be discussed face to face with your Physician [preferably an ENT Doctor]
