Question: what is the treatment for septic arthritis/gout. I'm stage 4 kidney disease and liver disease, Not a suitable
transplant candiate, have several medical issues

I read your question and i understand your concern. Septic arthritis has two mainstay of treatments. Joint drainage and anibiotics. Joint drainage is either by a needle, an arthroscope or an open surgery. Adequate analgesia and broad spectrum antibiotics are necessary here.

Rest the gout will need medication compliance and keeping uric acid levels in check and avoiding triggers that exacerbate gout. Stage 4 kidney disease is end stage renal disease and there is not much doctors can do about it except supportive care.
