Brief Answer:
Impetigo

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have also seen the photograph

This looks like Impetigo to me. Impetigo is bacterial infection of the skin which is characterised by honey colored crusting.

I would suggest a week of an oral antibiotic e.g Cephalexin 500 mg(keflex) or Amoxycillin 500mg, thrice daily for a week.

Topically he may use an OTC antibacterial e.g mupirocin or neomycin ointment twice daily.
