Brief Answer:
Hearing aids may provide relief

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
Tinnitus could be secondary to many causes, most of the time its harmless.
This could be due to sensorineural hearing loss, most commonly seen after 50 years of age. This should be confirmed after audiological evaluation. If it is associated with hearing loss might improve on using hearing aid.
I recommend the following.
1) A thorough clinical and audiological evaluation.
2) Hearing aid if required based on audiometry.
3) Ginkobelloba found to be useful in some.
4) Tinnitus maskers could be tried. Consult an ENT doctor and discuss for the same.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
