Question: I have a pain in my right side, am constipated and a burning sensation when I urinate.
Started two days ago went away and came back this afternoon

I would advise you the following in such a situation.
- First of all, send the sample of urine for: routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity, before the antibiotic is started. This helps to get better reports and helps for better further treatment.
- tests of blood and stool.
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen, particularly of genito-urinary system. Gives information about prostate.
- Get started on proper antibiotic, laxative for constipation as constipation can enhance the urinary trouble.
Further management as per the clinical evaluation, examination and reports of investigations.
