Question: I have severe itching in multiple areas of my body. The worst areas have a red bumpy rash / blotchy appearance. After a few days, those areas have a yellowish, dry flaky appearance. Other areas also itch and there are bumps, both red and skin-colored. It has spread from my shoulder/chest to my forearms, legs, torso, band upper thigh area.

Brief Answer:
Looks like dermatitis, topical steroid & antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it seems to be dermatitis.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream diluted in a moisturising lotion in the ratio of 1:3 on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
Steroidal preparations are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
No need to apply mupirocin cream as it is an antibiotic and won't be very effective in this condition.

Dr Asmeet
