Brief Answer:
treatment of recurrent sty

Detailed Answer:
I have seen reports.
Treatment for sty is appellation of eye lash. Hygiene of face and eye is to be maintained. Clean your face and eye with warm water and soap every day morning. Clean your lid margin with sterile swab. Then apply neosporine ophthalmic ointment. See if you have got dandruff in scalp and eye brow, if so treat it with nizral solution.
For boil in abdominal area and face you have to take systemic antibiotic like Ezythral 500 mg daily for 5 days. Hygiene of body specially face is to be maintained. May go for blood hemogram including TLC dc & ESR. Finally you can have culture and sensitivity test of pus after appellation. Take nutritious food and fresh fruits in your food. .

Hi Doctor,

Thankyou for the reply,
my main concern was why this stye is recurring like this?
is this Chalazia or connected to any other infection in my body?

Also as explained earlier I'm getting boils on my face (once) ,
once under my arm and on my abdomen area (twice).

Now on my abdomen area, the top layer of skin becomes dry, cracks and peels off and have a reddish looking "sore" area on the edge of the head of my penis.
Im really worried that some or the other form of infection is happening on my body.

The Stye dissapeared as of now,
As suggested by you I started AZITHRAL - 500 from today, I would like to have a step by step action you would like me to take so that this can be cured.

Awaiting your reply

Brief Answer:
Blood culture and long acting antibiotic.

Detailed Answer:
All the problem you are getting are related to infection. So hygiene of body face is to be maintained. Infection is blood borne. If Azithral does not work then you have to go for long acting penicillin like penidure la 12 once a month for complete one year. Finally more authenticated you can go for blood culture and sensitivity.

Use antiseptic soap like dettol for bathing. While cleaning clothes you can add dettol to it. Clothes and under garments may be sun dried. Hygiene of your house is to be maintained. Do not keep any petinhouse. Cosmetics are to be avoided. Have high protein and fresh fruit in your diet-to increase your immunity. Life style change like regular morning walk and sunbathing may be taken. Vitamin C in any form like citrus fruit may be taken.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX

Im using candid cream as advised by you, but the reddish patch under the head of penis seems to be still there. It's becoming very itchy and the skin is becoming very dry.
Also started taking Azithral, but I'm getting loose motion for the past 2 days ( I think it's a side effect of it ), should I take any tablet for that.
Await your reply.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
follow complete advise

Detailed Answer:
Yes, loose stool with azithromycin is common. You need probiotics and vitamin B complex along with it.

As far as the rash is concerned, I am not sure you are following the complete advice and hygiene measures suggested. If symptoms don't improve in the next 3-5 days, visit a local doctor for thorough examination.

Regards
