Brief Answer:
Where is the infection?

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

Where do you have yeast infection? Nitrofurantoin is for bacterial infection treatment in the urine. It does not work fungal infection. So no wonder it does not work. Instead of it, you need antifungal medicine.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Swab test should be done.

Detailed Answer:
I suggest you to have a swab test to diagnose the infection. It does not have to be fungal. It might be bacterial as well. For sure Lactobacilus medicine (to restore proper pH in the vagina) is necessary. Antibiotic should be chosen according to swab test result.
