Question: I was told i had recurrent folliculitus and i coulnt find the exact antibiotic reccommended but i thought infound something similar so i used that and it seemed that itmostly went away but now i noticed i have a new redish bump in almost the same area. It didnt hurt or anything but when i scratched it it seemed to be open and shiny. Is it jst sill follicultis or a pimple ot something more serious? I wish itd just go away completely! I attached a photo hope it helps so i can solve this!

Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic. I
have read your query and understood your concern.

I could not see the photo. I think its not being attached somehow.

I will appreciate if you can reload your pic.
In case it is folliculitis, I will advice you to take oral antibiotics along with application of topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin 2 percent over the lesions and inside the nostrils and perineal area for carrier state treatment.

I will also like to know if there is family history of diabetes?

Kindly reply to my question and upload the pic so that I can help you to my best.
