Brief Answer:
Try Rifaxymine treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

As you have had serious intestines infection and have been treated with antibiotics, your good intestinal bacteria was destructed. Good intestinal bacteria are very important for proper bowels function. Recuring abdominal pain is typical for it. Diarrhea or constipation are not always present.

To make your intestines back to normal you need to eliminate bacteria from small intestine, and restore bacteria in large intestine.
To do that, you definitelly should try Rifaximine treatment along with probiotic intake.

Rifaximine is a special antibiotic which does not affect the body. It stays only inside the intestines.

This treatment should help in a week or so.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.

Regards.
