Brief Answer:
Most probably hemorrhoids, but be careful if you have fever

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM,

From your description, it is most probably that you have developed hemorrhoids. Red blood suggests a wound near the anus.

It may be something you have had before, and it is a coincidence that you saw the symptoms just now, after your surgery.
If you have not fever, and you are passing stool normally , then you don't need to worry about it. Make sure to keep a good hygiene in that area, by1'
-- washing yourself with warm water every time you pass stool.
-- if possible doing sit baths twice/day
-- there are creams to apply locally who help relieve the pain and lower the inflammation of swollen, inflamed veins (thats what hemorrhoids are).

Anyway, if worse or not better, consider a visit to the specialist who would easily confirm the hemorrhoids.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need any more clarification.

Take care,
Dr.Klarida
