Brief Answer:
Liver is located under and below the right ribcage!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these blood clots that you have reported. I am however happy that you are on treatment and this blood thinner would prevent future clots.

The liver is located on the right side of the body just behind the lower border of the ribcage and a few centimeters below it. It is separated form the lungs by the diaphragm.

As for disease, they are many and different. Some are silent and some produce symptoms. Some symptoms include pain in this area, yellow eyes and urine, big abdomen, fever, etc. Unless the specific disease is cited, the symptoms cannot be specified. If there is any specific disease of concern, please mention it and we shall examine together.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
This is suggestive of bleeding in the intestines(stomach)

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.

This is suggestive of bleeding in the stomach. Being on blood thinners also, am concerned. It is not a direct sign of liver disease. I will recommend that you ask your doctor to review your clotting profile. You may also need medication to protect the stomach as well as a test to look for the cause of this. The best person to talk to is a gastroenterologist.

I wish you well. Keep me updated and feel free to request for more information if needed.
