Question: Hi I was in the hospital for a week w pneumonia and now I have been dizzy and lightheaded and I feel nauseous. I'm still coughing not horribly but coughing and trying to cough from down low cause it feels like there's junk down in deeper. But the lightheadedness is awful and I even feel like I'm going to pass out often, what could this be. My doctor said it was the healing process but I think there is something else wrong.

Brief Answer:
sequelae of the pneumonia, no worries

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Levoquine itself can cause dizziness as its adverse effects. Dizziness is a common sequelae of many infections and it is a part of almost every healing process involving airways and sinuses etc.

Even a simple flu or pneumonia vaccine may cause dizziness as well. All of it self resolves in a couple of weeks.

Your doctor is very right,, dizziness is just the sequelae and should not be bothered about. Just get well soon and use some antivert for the symptoms of dizziness relief.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
