Question: I am in 9th month of my pregnancy. I am suffering from painful piles since yesterday. Unable to sit stand sleep properly. please suggest cure as the condition is very painful. doctor has gvn local anaesthetic and Anovate ointment.
I was having slight constipation before but since last week it has been relieved.

Hi XXXXXXX I hope you were benefitted from our previous discussion.
Acute constipation can precipitate piles.
Keep applying the local an aesthetic and anovate as directed.
After applying local anaesthetic try to reduce the piles inside anus as softly as possible with the help of a gloved finger.
Don't try it more than once for each pile swelling (usually there are three swellings)
In case you are able to do so its alright otherwise get syrup duphalac and take 2 teaspoons full twice a day for 3 days.
It will help in softening the stool and decrease the pain and discomfort in defecation.
