Brief Answer:
Various suggestions for pigmentation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome back and thanks for your swift follow up.

I was waiting for the pictures for a better analysis but even then as per your description it appears to be related to pigmentation with to female preponderance.

To explain you simply : our skin is a multilayered structure with a specific cell known as melanocyte. These melanocyte gives color to the skin. This could be stimulated on higher side by hormonal influence in females as well as due to ultraviolet exposure from sun or even artificial sources such as computers or laptops or other light sources thus producing pigmentation.

Such kind of pigmentation is common in females of your age group. Stress could also induce it on higher side.

In my patients I suggest them to take a lot of vitamin A and vitamin c containing fruits and vegetables. These two vitamins helps in preventing the further formation of the pigmentation as well as have very good antioxidant property. This helps in preventing the damage to the skin and thus better renewal and less activity of melanocyte. These are present in all red fruits and fruits of citrus with all green vegetables.

I also suggest my patients to apply a sunscreen half an hour before going outside. It is also recommended in persons working in front of laptops and computers.

A Kojic acid with licorice extract preparation also night times helps in early resolution of the condition.

I hope this helps.
