Brief Answer: Please provide more details and pictures Detailed Answer: Hi I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same . Now only from the description, it is difficult to reach a definite diagnosis . I would like to have a look at the exact skin lesions . It would be helpful if you can click some close up pictures of the skin condition and upload them here on this page . You can also mail them at YYYY@YYYY with heading as ref to Dr Geetika Paul. Also please tell since when do you have this skin problem? Any associated pain or itching or discomfort? Are you applying any medicine over it? Are you presently taking any oral medicine in the form of pain killers or antibiotics? I am sure I will be able to help you more once you provide me the above details and the pictures . Brief Answer: Pigmentation peri urethral region Detailed Answer: Hi again I have seen the attached picture. You definitely have some pigmentation in the peri urethral region. Firstly it does not look like anything very serious . To me, it appears like a post inflammatory pigmentation . This is basically a pigmentation of the skin which develops after any kind of skin problem in the form of any infection or allergy. I can also see slight redness in the surrounding area. You need to apply a mild topical steroid and antifungal combination cream like candid b cream in the affected area twice a day. It will take care of both the pigmentation and the redness. You can use it for a week atleast. I am sure it will get better with treatment. The pigmentation might take a little longer to completely heal. But it has surely nothing to do with any cancer. Hope it helps Dr Geetika Paul

Brief Answer: Mild fungal infection with pigmentation Detailed Answer: Hi again It is difficult to point out the exact cause by looking at the lesion. But at present owing to the absence of any itching, pain or discomfort , it looks more like a post inflammatory pigmentation . This is basically a pigmentation of skin which develops when any primary skin condition in the form of any allergy or infection heals up. So right now, you simply apply the medicine as told. It should get better with treatment. It is less likely to be associated with any std also since most of the std ' s need proper and appropriate treatment for healing. I would rather think of a mild candidal which is fungal infection of the region which will heal with treatment . Dr Geetika Paul
