Suggest Treatment For Phimosis
Question:
hey i have phimos and i'm uncircumcised went to doctor but never shown my penis to doc just explained my problem . she gave me betamethasone 0.5%. and i'm using it from last one month but still can't pull my forehead skin back it just turns read and blueish so quicky and stinks too sometimes .even though i clean it two times a day and there is also little bit white flakes on the head. should i keep using same cream or try somthing different .its so itchy sometimes and im not going to get circumcised

I wish I could give you the answer about the treatment which in magic way will help. But being hones with you there is no such treatment.
Steroid cream (which is betamethasone) is a treatment which ca be prescribed to a infant or child. In case of children phimosis the skin is just too tight and with this cream can be easily stretched. Such treatment has great results in case of children. But your phimosis is much different than child phimosis.
At your age, the skin is narrow due to a scar. Any inflammation (like the one which is causing itching and white stuff) causes scar creation. Its because the immune system tries to destroy bacteria or fungi. During this destruction is secretes enzymes. In simple words your immune system cells trying to digest bacteria. During this digestion, skin cells are also digested. This causes the scar.
Long lasting infection in this area give even more scar. So instead of getting better, your phimosis will worsen.
That is why circumcision is your only option. Please believe me, steroid or any other cream wont work.
Please consult urologist with this issue.
