Suggest Treatment For Persistent Shingles

default
Posted on Thu, 17 Dec 2015
Question: I have had what 2 Drs. said was shingles for 2 months. They started on my right lymph node and my shoulders. Now they are drying up but the one over my lymph node opened up and a roll of something that looks like cotton comes out and it has what looks like a bug backbone with legs on it. once they get in the air they dissolve. There were so many under my ear that the skin on my neck is mis-shapened where they piled up before they got so tight they come thru the skin where a shingle blister had been. What is it?

Brief Answer:
Need evaluation by Microbiologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

You were having shingles and I believe you had taken the treatment. The place where you have wound clean it with betadine and keep it dry. I would suggest you to visit a parasitology laboratory under Department of Microbiology in your area and get the area visually inspected to rule out parasitic or arthropod infestation.

Take care
Hope I answered your query.
