Brief Answer:
side effect of medication, allergies, infection most common causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Rhinitis is inflammation of the nasal passages.

It can be associated with nasal discharge as you have been experiencing.

Most commonly it is related to allergies or infection, it can also occur as a side effect of some medication.
It is a possible side effect of lexapro, occurring in 5 to 10 % of persons who use it.

Infection is not likely if the discharge has been continuing for a year.

It is possible that a person can have allergies and experience medication side effects as well.

You may want to consider using a topical steroid nasal spray along with the over the counter antihistamine/decongestant medication you are using to see if this helps.

Eg of topical nasal sprays eg nasonex, nasocort, flonase, rhinocort

Allergy tests are also available if you want to definitively determine whether you are allergic to anything. These can be blood tests or skin prick testing

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
