No pains when bending over or sneezing . Never pain that happens when I sleep or Wakes me up . No history of illness . Never had any screening done on sinuses or head for that fact . About 2 months ago started having chest pains off and on. Doctor said I was over weight , (which I was ). That was May 5th. Stopped drinking alcohol after blood test reveled my liver enzymes were slightly elevated . Have been dropping since losing 20 lbs and cut out alcohol . Chest pains continued to come and go so doctor just this past week put me on lexapro. Seems to be work of slightly but I know it takes a bit to get going . Also had EKG which was perfectly fine. Blood pressure 123/83 and i check my pulse often . Resting seems to be about 60 when calm and relaxing . Just seems like these pains are starting to bug me and cause more anxiety . By my ears , right behind my eye socket on the bone . On my cheek bone . Sometimes on top of my head which is noting I have felt . They don't last long at all. Sometimes the dull ache will come and last for 10 seconds then go away. Just want to make sure I'm not going to keep freaking out over it . Thanks for all your help and response .

Brief Answer:
I think there is no reason to worry much more than necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for the clarifications.

In this case, I don't see any reason to worry much more than necessary about your headaches.

They can be related to Lexapro side effects, could also relate to anxiety disorder or could be primary headaches ( when no underlying causes are found ).

I think, as your body adapts to Lexapro use, your headaches will subside gradually.

Use of ibuprofen 3x400 mg/day for few days could help improve your symptoms.

Anyway, discussing these issues with your treating Doctor should help you understand better your condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

Last question , I was 249lbs , and over the last 7 weeks I have dropped to 223 or so. Is that normal just cutting out alcohol and running 1-2 miles a night like I have been doing . My normal body growing up was 190-210 but just wondering . Seems this lexapro is curving my appetite as well? Sorry for last question .

Brief Answer:
Eat healthy and stay well hydrated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Loosing 26 lbs in 7 weeks could be explained at least partially by stopping alcohol and exercising, but food intake seems to play an important part in this loose.

You should eat healthy and stay well hydrated.

Lexapro could affect appetite too, but with time your body should adapt to its use.

Hope I helped you.

Best regards.
