There is only pain when I dig it because of the itching, the swelling is soft, it does scab or get a soft covering over it if I leave it alone. No, it does not feel hot to the touch and im not sure that it has increased or decreased in size. No history of fever, and I do not have diabetes, hypertension or any other illness that I am aware of. I cannot share a picture because I have no resource to share it on the computer.

Hello

thank you for getting back with the answers. i have gone through them. Your symptom is due to allergic reaction. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- cetirizine one at night for 3 days.
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.
- apply Betamethasone 1mg over the swelling area.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if conditions remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
