Suggest Treatment For Persistent Insomnia

Question: I have had insomnia for over a year. My doctor has tried a long list of medications. I went to a sleep clinic which didn't help. I am now taking one diazepam 5mg and 2 silenor 3mg each. The diazepam helps me get to sleep and the silenor is supposed to help me get back to sleep when I wake up several times in the night. It works once in a while but not with any regularity. He has changed my prescription many times and some of the medications I couldn't take because they made me nauseated. The latest prescription was for Intermezzo and Medicare refused to pay for it. They said I need to try Belsomra first. We paid for the Intermezzo ourselves even though it was tremendously expensive because I am desperate to find something that helps. What are the chance that Belsomra will help me?
