Question: I have had diarrhea for 3 days and am now also vomiting.

Hello,

Thanks for posting the query to HCM,

The symptoms you are complaining of most probably suggests of gastroenteritis due to food poisoning.
This usually resolves on it's own in 3 to 4 days. have lot of oral fluids electrolyte drink or powder mixed in water.
Have probiotic containing lactobacillus which will help in stopping the loose stools.

Several OTC medicines are used as antiemetics.

Bismuth subsalicylate (some brand names: Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol) may help treat some types of nausea and vomiting,such as from gastroenteritis (also called “stomach flu”). It’s also used for upset stomach and as an antidiarrheal (medicine to treat diarrhea).

You can have one of this tablet 1 before a meal. for 2 days.

Keeping your body well hydrated is the only mainstay treatment in diarrhea and vomiting.
