Brief Answer:
The cause needs to be discovered first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Treatment about peripheral neuropathy including non-diabetic neuropathy consists on controlling the underlying cause(s) and improving symptoms.

Therefor, it is necessary first to discover the underlying condition that has caused the neuropathy.

Conditions to consider and evaluate further include prolonged exposure to any toxic chemicals, heavy metals, side effects of certain drugs, viral infections, long term alcohol use, vitamins B group deficiency, autoimmune diseases, kidney disease and several others.

Thorough investigations should be carried out by your Doctor, besides medical examination, in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

These tests include blood tests about above mentioned conditions, nerve conduction study and EMG.

In the mean time, symptomatic treatment with antineuralgic drugs such Pregabalin, local application of capsaicin cream and vitamins B supplements should help.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
