Question: I think i have a cist inside my penis. it curves a little when erected and is painful most but not all of the time.
I enquired the services of a urologists office but was discouraged by the cost of just a office.

Getting curvature of penis on erection and pain is mostly due to presence of calcified plaque in the shaft of the penis that develops due to scarring of the sheath called Tunica Albugenia that envelops two corporeal bodies (Erectile Tissue ).

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Can you palpate a hard nodular swelling in shaft of the penis ?

You nee to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get ultrasound Scanning of he penis done to confirm the diagnosis .

In majority of cases this gets resolved spontaneously over a period of 2-3 years . Treatment (Surgery)is required only in a situation when the curvature of penis is more than 45 degree and poses difficulty in penetration of vagina during sexual intercourse .
