Suggest Treatment For Painful Cyst At The Base Of The Penis
Question: Hello, recently I have obtained a hard painful sort of cyst/boil/pimple at the base of my penis. I took notice sunday that something was strange after having sex with my girlfriend during ovulation period or spotting. While I did wear a condom, her blood got on the area where the condom did not cover. The next morning I woke up itchy and irritated. The next few days I acquired bumps resembling pimples and a painful tough bump underneath the skin at the base of my penis. It is now Friday night and I was able to pop the large bump and squeeze a good amount of white/yellow greasy puss from the what I imagine to be a cyst or boil. I've been all over the web this week in search of answers and from what I can tell, it couldn't be herpes what with the puss coming out. Although, months ago, I had a cold sore which I mistook for a burn from eating hot pizza and later preformed oral on my same girlfriend. She later developed symptoms of hsv1 genital. I'm wondering if it could have been transferred back to me through her blood from mensuration.. Desperately looking for answers hope to hear back, thank you.

Base on the facts that you have posted I think you have developed bacterial infection of hair follicle at the base of the penis .
You need to do following basic tests to confirm the diagnosis.
1)Swab test and culture of pus r discharge from the lesion
In view of the protected sex and duration of your lesion being only few days it can be suspected to be STD or Herpes 2 infection
Start taking antibiotic like Cefotaxime and anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily
Ensure to clean your genital area twice daily .
Ensure to avoid sexual intercourse till t heals up completely.
