Question: I am having pain next to my rib cage on right side - started yesterday very sore

It could be due to Gall bladder disease.

Hi
Pain near rib cage on right side could be due to Gall bladder disease, mostly Gall stones.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue. You should check for Right kidney pathology also. Ultrasound abdomen will confirm Renal problem too.
If Ultrasound abdomen is normal, then the pain could be due to musculoSkeletal cause. Then,I prescribe skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside to my patients.
